The Subaru schedule says 10,000kms for first oil change. The dealership said bring it in after 3000kms to check everything and do an oil change "after the break-in period". I took it in around 6500kms, as there was a recall I was already going in for. I didn't think it was totally necessary, but it was cheap enough that I figured it couldn't hurt.

When i first checked the stick the oil level looked too high (even though i put 5L in) so i tried to take some out. I started my car and all the check engine lights came on.
